View AllThis is a perfect, adorable, swoon-worthy Christmas book and I loved every second of it. The relationship is adorable, Maddie and Seb are perfect for each other and I love how they make each other into better and stronger people. I'm usually skeptical about going into Christmas books, because I usually find anything holiday themed to be exaggerated and trying too hard to be sweet and festive. It wasn't the case here. This wasn't too cheesy or cringe, it didn't veer into any over the top syrupy romance or tropes. (The fact that I only figured out in the epilogue how this book is linked to "The quit list" is embarrassing for me).
