I really loved this book, the ambience, the setting, the plot. The characters were interesting as well, even though the only ones who truly stand out are Rory and Jazza (in my point of view at least). The story was great, and some parts of the novel totally frightened me, especially during some confrontations between the main character and this extremely strange and mysterious killer... I had to stop reading at one point because I'm quite sensitive and reading this kind of book in the dark, alone, with a scary music in my ears was a bit too immersive for me. It gave me shivers. Near the end, the tension fell, and I was least invested than I was when I started to read. This was not a huge problem, th book was great overall, and I honestly can't wait to read the next one. I loved the writing style, and even though I would not consider this as a masterpiece, it surely was interesting, and had everything I wanted and more ! It's a perfect read for teenagers and young adults, especially during the halloween period ! I'm excited to read more about Rory's curious story... Would totally recommend !
