Although Charlie Vaughan is the number one suspect for Furzy Malone’s murder, that all changes when the same mysterious hooded person with the same sharp meat hook who killed Furzy, kills Charlie in his back garden. Wade Malone is branded as the suspect, since many people know his hatred for Charlie and how he had threatened him and even attacked him at the hotel, after he proposed to his mother, Polly. At his trial, Wade and Jaffa are both questioned whilst Gwyn Jaffa’s brother, shifts uncomfortably in his seat. Superintendent Jack McGuinness finds the trench coat and blood stained meat hook in a shed, which means Wade could be innocent.
