this was def my favorite of the series but honestly idk why i came back to the series at all 🫠i absolutely love the magic system and the plot of these books but the problem is ... the authors don’t care about the damn plot!! as soon as you feel like you’re really moving forward, we go back to square one with “let’s bring the vegas to their knees” and “screw the heirs it’s our throne.” meanwhile two chapters later they’re all joking around or making out as if nothing happened? it MAKES NO SENSE. absolutely zero flow, we take one step forward and five steps back every time and i’m just so over it. bluelance is quite literally the singular redeeming factor in all of this, because i hate every other character and the plot is constantly forgotten and just ugh these books are so bad.at this point i’ll probably be looking up spoilers for the rest of the series then calling it quits 💆🏼♀️── pre readgiving this another shot because libby has the graphic audio 🤝🏼
