Was it predictable? Yes. Did I absolutely love it and am I going to turn around and listen to it all over again? Yessssss!!! Can’t wait for book two!
At the beginning of this book I enjoyed it so much. It was heading towards a 5 star read. Somewhere along the book I started to enjoy it a bit less. Wren her impulsiveness got a bit annoying. It made her feel very childish. I liked the plot twists at the end I didn't see it coming. I was doubting if I want to rwad book 2 because of Wren but I'm intrigued enough to read book 2 as well.
Loved this! A dystopian novel with great characters who build friendships and develop trust only for it to be tested and destroyed for some. The key relationship is between Cross and Wren, and I would say that there was a similarity here with 'Divergence', which is why I most probably like it as much. Two sides fighting for what they believe is right. Can't wait to read the sequel.
I loved this book so much. Wren and Cross along with the other side characters like Kaiden, Jim, and Xavier all have my heart. Those last 40 pages though were such a whirlwind of reveals and now I can't wait to see where Dani Francis takes this story. I'm sad that I have to wait probably around a year and a half for the next book but when it comes out I will 100% be reading it.Also, congrats to Dani Francis because this novel was so good it was almost like she's been writing for years.
I can honestly say I expected more from this. I didn't like the main characters very much and honestly some side characters were much more interesting. The abilities system was pretty cool though. I liked the the chemistry between the main characters though.Overal it was average with some bright moments.
Okay, I found this book on TikTok and thought... dystopian romance? I'll give it a try, and let me tell you I'm so glad I gave it a chance after hearing realllllly mixed reviews on it. This will definitely be one of my top books for 2025.More into the writing, sure the characters aren't the most complex characters I've ever read, but they were everything I wanted in an easy read. What I loved most about the MC's was their chemistry, it was fast-paced, a bit messy and completely addictive! If you like Divergent, Red Queen, and similar dystopian books, Silver Elite is an easy read that has the same aesthetics without going too heavy into the politics.
