This book has the right amount of mystery and secrets, but it doesn’t always take you in the direction you think it is. I will admit, it took a little while for me to figure the mystery out, but even when I had, there was still more to be revealed. I hate what Cabell became, and how Emrys just vanished, but I love the revelation that comes with it all. There was a small patch about halfway through where I felt like it sort of lost what the journey was about, but it still ended up being so good, even if I was a bit blindsided. I need the second book PRONTO, meaning more money is going to be spent on MORE books.
