View AllWow, this book was so good. I felt the pain and frustration of both Lake and Will. I met my soulmate early, over 40 year's ago. I remember those days of misunderstanding and of making up. 😉I listened to the playlist occasionally too while reading. Will makes a lot of sense with his slams and he was such a wonderful character, even his faults 😉. He tries to do the right thing and thankfully it works out in the end. I cried at the epilogue.Life is never how you expect it to be... But live it anyway and find the happiness within the other not so happy part's,I'm going to stop carving pumpkins and make the best of what the future brings.
This might be the worst one yet. And I know, it's her debut, so I should be nicer but I simply refuse to believe that a publisher actually read this and said "yes good I'd like 30 more."Everyone in this book is insufferable (minus the children and Julia, they're fine)(also I don't mean 'unlikable' because I don't mind unlikable characters - I mean insufferable), and the poetry that has been written for the slams is garbage. Will I be continuing with the series? Obviously, I hate myself and bought them all. Here's hoping for some improvement.
