In his work, Smithson linked architecture and art, theory and life and he is valued as one of the most influential architects of the post-war world. Here, Smithson lays out the stations of his life, recounting the development of his architectural thinking in personal encounters, exhibitions and buildings. Smithson chose the picture material for this book himself.
