Snake in the Sandtrap

1985, hardcover edition, Holt Rinehart, NY. 166 pages, b&w photos throughout. Lee Trevino came out of nowhere and became a dominant force on the PGA tour. Here are funny takes on various experiences, fellow pros he met along the way, 30 short essays on people he remembers fondly. Here are Chi Chi Rodriguez, Seve Ballesteros, Fuzzy Zoeller, Jack Nicklaus, and many others. Trevino was average sized and had an odd swing, but he proved you could do it your way if you had talent, grit, and ambition. Some very funny moments here.
