As a child, Avery Coleman loved Snow White and dreamed of Prince Charming. But the adult Avery no longer believes in magic or fairy tales. She’s living her dream amidst the glitz and glamour of Manhattan, working for the editor of a fashion magazine. Only her dream isn’t as shiny as she expected. Her editor could pass for a witch and Avery’s hunky actor boyfriend dumped her.

An eccentric old woman gives Avery a snow globe and tells her princes come in many disguises, but she dismisses the woman’s ramblings. Family obligations force Avery back to her small Vermont hometown to help sell Christmas trees at her family’s lot.

When Avery meets Josh Huntsman, who volunteers at a homeless shelter and works at the tree lot, she finds herself drawn to the handsome, out-of-work Iraq War vet. But she fights her attraction. Josh is so not what she wants in a man. No way could he be her prince.
