There were several things that I loved about this book, one being that its main trope was brother's best friend! I loved the found family vibes, the slight level of drama, the forced proximity, and the mental health rep for both MCs. I really loved the relationship that Indy and Miles had before they even started a relationship. They just clicked, even when they didn't know each other that well anymore. I also really loved their unending faith, loyalty, and belief in the other. It was pretty inspiring!Miles and Indy both had their own insecurities, traumas, and coping mechanisms that each of them started picking up on. Slowly they showed each other their vulnerabilities, and started on an emotional journey of healing. The way that the author portrayed parental neglect and abuse in this book, was done in such a sensitive way that it never felt as if it was just being thrown in your face for a shock factor, or to be used for added dramatic effect, which I absolutely loved. It was used for the sole purpose of providing context and reason behind the actions and ways of the MCs. Because of this, it made the experience, characters, and story feel more real.I definitely recommend picking up this book and honestly, every book in this series if you haven’t already!
