good story and moralAnother cute story of the UDMs. It made a person think and was written well. I felt it did a great job at pointing out unintentional consequences as well as dealing with some deep issues such as divorce, loss of a parent’s job and even depression. I like that it didn’t just tie everything up in a neat bow and fix what was bothering the kids.Even though the story is in a different world then ours and adds magic in some very unique and fun ways, I think the underlying issues the characters deal with are just the same as would any person, no matter their age, have in our own world. It also gives some good advice on how to approach these complications and to see them as something positive or something that everyone must deal with at some point in their lives. Blame, hatred and attacking others, isn’t a good answer, but pointing out that it’s a part of life, growing up and hopefully understanding between people, is an exceptional answer and a hope for the future.A very uplifting story and I have to say, after reading it, our own world does seem a bit brighter and better from just reading this story.
