Description
Paul Kavanagh is the name of the main character, as well as pseudonym of the author of this novel, who originally submitted the work to publishers as J. O. Kerr, but later changed it to Kavanagh. The publishers' letter of acceptance to Kerr was returned as undeliverable, but the book was subsequently published. The well known mystery writer Lawrence Block is now known to be the author.
