Description

In a world on the brink of chaos, the gods are restless, murmuring dark omens of an impending war. Kissen, known as the Godkiller, has made the ultimate sacrifice, sealing her fate and intertwining her legacy with the fate of the realm. With the echoes of divine power lingering, allies and enemies alike are drawn into a web of destiny that defies their expectations.

As tensions rise, a new hero must step forward to navigate this treacherous landscape fraught with betrayal and shifting allegiances. Relationships are tested, loyalties are fractured, and the line between good and evil becomes increasingly blurred. The stakes are high, and the consequences of each decision could alter the course of their world forever.

With vivid characters and an immersive setting, this tale invites readers to delve into an epic struggle where courage, sacrifice, and the fight for hope shine through the darkness. Every choice has the potential to ignite a flame or douse it, leading toward an uncertain yet thrilling future.

-> 3.5 StarsAfter such a stellar first book, I had high hopes for this and was a bit let down.I loved so much about Godkiller, but Sunbringer felt a lot like it had second book syndrome. The first 60% of the book didn't really go anywhere. We spend all of the book up till the last chapter waiting for the characters to join back up, which would be okay but the found family trope of Godkiller was so good that I feel cheated. I did like the character arcs for everyone but this definitely felt like a character driven filler book. I am hoping that book 3 brings it all back around.-> 3.5 Stars
