Description
Maths is not a memory test and this book is for anyone, child or adult, that struggles to memorise their multiplication tables. It is a short book that presents a few surprisingly simple tricks to help you calculate and reinforce the multiplication tables. With these tricks the products which used to be considered the hardest to learn 6, 7, 8 and 9 suddenly become the simplest.
There are lots of books around that help the memory process, by learning songs, rhymes or stories, this is not one of them.
This book recognises that different people learn in different ways and presents a number of surprisingly simple calculation tricks such as doubling, skip counting and finger tricks allowing the student to choose which they prefer or find simplest. I have found this works brilliantly for some people; children in particular seem to love the tricks that they can impress their friends with.
