Description
This short crochet pattern in ebook form is for a single flower pattern excerpted from “Susan’s Showy Crochet Flower Patterns” which can be found on Amazon if you search for "Susan Kennedy crochet". The peony in this booklet is one of the showiest of those fun and highly dimensional crocheted flowers. Here you find the instructions and step-by-step photos you need to work this big bold flower. There is a key to abbreviations, a note about materials, and of course the instructions themselves with lots of photos. I like to work this flower in four colors, color #1, usually a pale green for the center disk, color #2 for the inner stamens, color #3 for the inner rings of petals, and color #4 for the outermost ring of large petals. If you want a smaller peony, perhaps 4” across, use a light weight yarn and a size E hook. For a larger peony (5 to 5 ½”), use medium weight yarns and a size G or H hook. Feel free to make and sell items from my patterns; however, please do not pass around the patterns themselves, as they are my own copyrighted designs.
