Description
The very last person Ray Van Zeller wants is the insufferable Zavier Demos.
Ray is in the middle of a PR nightmare, right before Twisted Wishes heads out on a make-or-break tour. Ray’s taking the fall, and they need a new drummer, pronto. Problem is, the jerk who rejected him in high school is exactly who Ray needs. Zavier is the only one talented enough to learn all of Twisted Wishes’ songs before the tour. Ray can get over years of lingering old hurt, right?
Zavier’s kept an eye on Ray and knows he’s got the fire to go far. He just needs the touch of control—something Zavier aches to bring if Ray’s willing. A tumble in the sheets could be fun, and like with the band, it’s just a temporary gig. Zavier’s dreams don’t include rock and roll or relationships.
But when the closeness of the road twines Ray and Zavier together, professionally and personally, they’re suddenly rethinking what the future could hold and what trust, commitment, and friendship might mean—for the band and for each other.
