Both Heath and Charlie are secretly pining each other over the years, but no one would know considering the amount of arguments and disagreements they have had over the years. Opposite attracts kinda thing. There's an age gap but not past 9 yrs difference.They finally have some truce for a night at their best friend's/brother's wedding and get it on. Months later, her diabetes stats are all over the place, so she gets it checked out and finds out she's pregnant. Won't spill any further, but they get married and Heath wants her to figure on her own how he feels about her. There is humor and banter along with sexual tension. I love how Heath cares for Charlie.If you've read her other books from this series, you'll enjoy this one too. I haven't read her previous books from the series but it could be read as a standalone, unless they show Heath and Charlies banters over the other books.
