Description
"Ten years (or more) in the making, this book is part spiritual journey as told through the stories of others. I've rewoven biblical narratives to give a stronger voice to characters often overlooked, such as Jael, Leah, and Tamar. I've let the women from the Old Testament speak their doubt, their fear, their hope, and show their tenacity, their ferociousness and longing. Don't be surprised to feel the gothic and the holy springing up side by side as you read--if you do--I've done something right."
