Description

In a seemingly tranquil village, a gruesome discovery disrupts the peace: a body is found in the library of the local manor. Miss Marple, the astute investigator with a knack for solving mysteries, is drawn into the case as she unravels the web of secrets surrounding the victim and the residents of the manor. With her keen observations and deep understanding of human nature, she navigates through a cast of intriguing characters, each with their own motives and alibis.

As Miss Marple delves deeper, the facade of idyllic village life begins to crumble, revealing hidden tensions and long-held grudges. With her unparalleled wisdom, she connects the dots that others overlook, piecing together the clues that will ultimately lead to the truth. This classic tale serves as a testament to Christie’s talent for crafting suspenseful narratives, where the smallest detail can prove pivotal in the fight against deception.

I don't know what it is, but the Miss Marple books just don't really interest me. It's crazy because it's the same author as Poirot, whom I love, but I just don't feel the same about Marple.Marple's stories are boring and I'm not fond of her as a character, either. I just find myself checking out while listening to them. This story was okay, I guess, but it was boring. Again, not fond of the characters and the ending was lackluster.
