-4.5 starsThe has been highly anticipated since I read book 1 and 2 earlier this year but I kept putting off reading this installment fore the fear of finishing the series. Because obviously, you can only read a book for the first time, once.I am glad that I have finally finished it though. I did have some problems with this book. The pacing of the story felt all over the place. The first half of the book felt like a rat race going no where. The characters, I adored, however one particular character *coughmaylandcough* drove me insane. Don't like him at all. My biggest issue however was what happened to one of our main characters in this book. I am still mad about it. Also the very end felt rushed, gave vibes that the author was sick of writing the book and wanted to finish it up fast.All that to say, I will be reading more of his books anyway! I loved this series, his writing, and want to try more grim dark work from him.-4.5 stars
