Description
Claire Danvers navigates the treacherous halls of a university where intellect takes a backseat to popularity. As a brilliant student burdened by her overwhelming intellect, she struggles to fit in among peers who are more concerned with social status than academic prowess. The campus is not just a battleground of wits but also a dangerous realm dominated by its darker elements.
When a night of revelry turns ominous, Claire finds herself confronted by the realities of betrayal and danger. Her friendships blossom amid turmoil, forming a tight-knit circle of allies who understand the stakes. As they plunge deeper into a world filled with supernatural threats, Claire’s cleverness becomes both her weapon and her shield. Their choices will test their loyalty, courage, and ultimately, their survival. Claire must rise to the occasion, proving that true strength often lies beyond sheer intellect.
In the midst of secrets and deadly encounters, Claire learns that trust can be both a gift and a curse. As she faces the ghosts of her past and unravels the mysteries surrounding her, the dance with fate reveals that the fight for her life is just beginning.

Reviews
These books are fun, easy reading. I enjoy the fictional world and like the characters. There's some cognitive dissonance at times where the characters make exceptionally stupid choices in order to drive the plot forward and its obvious enough to yank you out of the story and be annoying, but overall a good fantasy world to disappear into for a couple of hours.
