Demon's lexiconCharacters: Nick, Alan,Mae, Jamie. Nick one of the main characters cold, hard, uncaring, a killer and good with anything pointy and sharp. Alan good with a gun, nick's brother and he holds secrets, Mae the pink haired feisty kick butt girl and Jamie her blond possibly gay brother These characters make you feel no doubt about that they do make you feel pretty impressive for a third POV story. Most people would think you'll end up loving one brother, hating the other or hating or loving both almost everyone is really developed BStory: This is a very interesting and unique story the descriptions and details were amazing and vibrant there is action galore and a bit of sexual tension too boot. Demons, magic, mystery and a few good plot twists here and there this was a thrilling and fast past read. Some things, like most mysteries, were predictable if you watched for clues, others -unless you read a head or read a spoiler- were really shocking and left you with an indifferent feeling of “how should I feel about this” This is a story for fantasy and mystery lovers not so much for religious and strictly religious however. This is defiantly a one of a kind fantasy novel though that is in third person yet still in a point of view B-Cover: The hard cover has Nick in a sunset like color with a sunset in the background and crows with his talisman glowing the paperback is more interesting with a full body shot of him with his sword out in a dark setting CRating: YACompany: Simon & SchusterMy rating : 3 of 5 This is one of those books that by the end you can't pin point what your feeling thinking it over I find it funny that I decided to read a book about demons yet pass up “Kindred” I have no real words to explain how I feel about this book. It was very much a roller coaster I was happy to read it excited to read it and couldn't put it down and yet it makes me uneasy. Like learning a secret you really shouldn't have but once something's read it can't be unread. I'm happy I read it and happy it's out of the way I guess the one last question I really have is How can there be more?PS. This was originally going to be a 4 start book but the ending made me drop a star, Also I can shake this off I've shaken off worse books then this -coughthedarkdevinecough- and lived to read another book and I can push these characters and this story to the back of my mind I have better things to read I've also read books with demon's before but still....I guess what I can say is this, I loved it, I hated it and it left me with mixed feelings and I guess the only thing that I would say I regret is that I didn't finish it when I first got it
