View AllThe Downloaded is a wonderful little gem of a Sci-Fi story. Brendan Fraser is fantastic in this audiobook version on Audible. Other voice actors are hit and miss due to some very fake sounding British accents.
When sticking to its premise, this is where it is at its most successful. However it does venture into the territory of 'preaching' about real world issues: such as the Covid-19 pandemic. In these moments it is far less successful.
Overall it is a short, enjoyable gem that I would recommend any Sci-Fi fan check out, if you haven't already.
