The Element

As a child, Sean was exposed to the golden mist of the Element. Sean has learned about wielding its power over the course of his life but is now on the run from those who would take and use it for their own gain. When the malevolent Singularity attempts his assassination in a mall food court, an innocent bystander, Tom, takes the bullet, forcing Sean to use the Element’s powers to save the man’s life.

Now, Detective Eddie Castro has a strange case to solve. His would-be victim, Tom, has healed with miraculous speed and his main witness has disappeared. Out of his depth, Eddie takes his first steps into a world where the Element creates heroes and villains out of mortal men. A world where the powers of this mysterious substance are ever-shifting, ever-growing, and, possibly, even eternal.
