Description

Some rivalries spark fire. Some hearts get caught in the blaze.

She can’t forgive him. He can’t forget her. After one disastrous date and years of mutual irritation, Cassidy Turner and Gunner Miller have perfected the art of avoidance. But when a troubled student brings Cassidy to the gates of Last Creek Ranch, old sparks reignite and not all of them are angry.

Gunner’s got enough on his plate ranch expansions, land disputes, and a headstrong woman who gets under his skin in more ways than one. Cassidy’s just as infuriating as he remembers… and twice as captivating.

As tension gives way to truth, something unexpected grows between them. But in a town where secrets simmer and loyalty runs deep, love might not be enough to survive the storm of tragedy.

Set against the green hills and rumbling skies of Silver Peaks, The Emerald Waves is a story of stubborn hearts, slow-burning redemption, and a love that refuses to back down.

Some grudges run deep.
Some truths can’t be ignored.
And some sparks were meant to burn.

I don’t know about you, but I freaking love a miscommunication trope. Even more so when both sides are stubborn as mules, and it takes longer for the truth to become clear. Gunner and Cassidy are the absolute cutest. I adore Gunners love for his family and the care and attention he puts into looking after his horses. The lengths Cassidy will go to, even when it goes against how she feels, is exactly the type of love you want to read about. The small town setting is beautiful, the descriptions making it so much easier to imagine in my head. And the enjoyment I got from the battle of irritation between Gunner and Cassidy, I was kicking my legs screaming.I laughed, cringed, and nearly cried. For my first cowboy romance, I'm hooked and off to read book 1
