In a lighthearted yet charming tale, this novella follows the escapades of a certain Montague sibling as he grapples with desires and expectations. Set against a backdrop of adventure and mischief, readers are drawn into a world filled with wit, humor, and a touch of romance. The character's journey is infused with both playful banter and deeper emotional currents, creating a balance that keeps the reader engaged throughout.

As social pressure mounts and friendships are tested, the protagonist’s quest for love takes on a comedic twist. The story explores the contrasts between societal norms and personal desires, navigating the complexities of attraction and the lengths one will go to secure companionship.

Richly drawn characters add depth to the narrative, providing a sense of familiarity and warmth. Their interactions spark moments of laughter while delving into the nuances of love, trust, and the occasional awkward mishap.

Ultimately, this novella offers a delightful escape, celebrating the joys of youth, chance encounters, and the unpredictable nature of romance, all while maintaining an entertaining and heartfelt tone.

In The Gentleman's Guide to Getting Lucky we find ourselves in Santorini with Felicity and Henry 'Monty' Montague, Percy Newton along with the crew of the Eleftheria as their adventures continue on from The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue. This novella of around 100 pages focuses on the newly together Monty and Percy and I absolutely loved it. There's a wonderful realism about the two that now they've crossed the line and realised that the two of them have been completely ignorant of how the other feels about one another, they now have to begin to plan a life together in every form from the practicality of where they live to the more romantic side of things of what being a couple means for these two men.
