In a mystical realm where fear governs the hearts of the townsfolk, a chilling tradition unfolds each year: the sacrifice of an innocent child to appease a witch believed to roam the nearby forest. However, unbeknownst to them, the witch, who is named Xan, is not the malevolent figure they envision, but rather a gentle soul nurturing the very children they abandon. One fateful day, she rescues a baby girl and names her Luna, unknowingly imbuing her with powerful magic.
As Luna grows under Xan's care, she discovers her extraordinary abilities and the complexities that come with them. Each chapter reveals her struggle to understand her powers and the darkness that surrounds her origins. The narrative weaves themes of love, sacrifice, and the courage to defy fate, ultimately leading to an enchanting journey of self-discovery that invites readers to explore the thin line between fear and understanding.
