Reviews
Overall not terrible, but definitely not the kind of book I was hoping for. The overall mystery was fine, there were some good moments and convoluted revelations as others mentioned, but what really lowered the rating for me were the characters. I really wanted to like Josie, and I did at the beginning but as the story progressed I just grew more frustrated. I understand she was under stress, as this case was deeply personal but I can't help but think she could've handled herself and her reactions to people a bit differently. Also, as other people have also said, I think it would be very valuable to read the first in the series - which I did not.
