The Good Ship Melody

With feet planted firmly on the ground, Temperance Rae Hartford casts her eyes to the stars, yearning to be back among them. She has a ship, but no money, and no passengers to take skyward. A mysterious alien appears, seemingly out of thin air with the perfect solution to her problems, but will taking him and his crew aboard lead her deeper into the dark wonder of the universe, or lead her to her doom? Perhaps a bit of both; only time will tell as the young space pilot and her crewmates follow Captain Cable to the far reaches of space on their good ship Melody.
