Description

At Ellingham Academy, a prestigious and enigmatic school, the air is thick with mystery and unease. After a series of tragic events that have claimed the lives of three individuals, the seemingly idyllic campus is shrouded in a sense of foreboding. The beloved atmosphere of learning is replaced with whispers of a sinister presence lurking in the shadows. Each death raises questions that echo through the hallowed halls, creating an atmosphere where trust fractures and paranoia flourishes.

As clues begin to unfold, the characters find themselves ensnared in a web of secrets and hidden motives. The backstory of Ellingham Academy reveals a legacy of cruelty and dark humor, suggesting that not all is as it seems. Friendships are tested and alliances are formed as the survivors dive deeper into the history of their surroundings, confronting both their own demons and the haunting ghosts of the past.

Determined to uncover the truth, they navigate through a labyrinth of mystery, piecing together threads of danger and intrigue. With each revelation, the tension escalates, leading to a gripping conclusion that will leave readers questioning the very nature of fate and destiny. As the hand on the wall beckons, the chilling specter of fate looms ever closer.

Rating 3.5 out of 5. I absolutely love this one better than the other two books like the first two books. For some reason the first two books just did not catch my attention really that much had a hard time actually following the plot even though I knew what was happening. It was still so hard at points and times actually falling and reading and staying interested. And I think it's just because I've come to the conclusion that the writer just has a different type of writing style than I do or that I like to read. So yeah. But this one I was intrigued. I think I maybe lost interest during those flashbacks wouldn't it be like there was like journal entries of like what would actually happen back in the night? Like when? Allison and Iris was kidnapped but aside from that I was able to follow the plot much easier. I really enjoyed this book compared to the first two and I kind of want to see what happens within the third one or the fourth one I mean.
