Description
Don’t lie.
Don’t steal.
Don’t break the law.
And absolutely do not, under any circumstance, sleep with your best friend’s son.
I’ve always prided myself on being a good man. I am a doctor after all.
I consider myself to be a by the book man.
A man with strong morals and a clear conscience.
That is until a night out of town with too many drinks finds me naked and sweaty with the one person I shouldn’t be rolling around in the sheets with…
Colt Bishop.
Professional bull rider. Son of my very best friend. And now my most sordid memory. A memory that, despite my very best efforts, refuses to leave my mind.
After my father retires, I make the decision to move back to Copper Lake and take over the family practice. Avoiding Colt and every erotic memory that follows becomes impossible.
He’s flirty. Shameless. Suggestive.
He’s also half my age.
Keeping my distance and keeping my clothes on should be easy… So why does it feel like anything but?

Reviews
View AllThe History Between Us is another great book in Ashley James' Copper Lake Series, I have loved every book of the series so far. 🙂I loved reading Colt and William's story and watching their relationship grow as they realized their true feelings for each other despite trying to keep those same feelings under wraps when they're around their friends and family. I also love the banter between William and Colt throughout the story along with the scene between Colt and Whit about Whit's model airplanes or "toy planes" as Colt calls them. My other favorite scenes from "The History Between Us" were when Colt and William picked out the Christmas trees together and when they gave each other their Christmas presents. I would definitely recommend The History Between Us to anyone who loves cowboy romances as this book definitely deserves five out of five stars! I can't wait to read Conrad and Whit's story but I'm also a little sad to see the Copper Lake Series come to a conclusion as like I said earlier in this review, I've loved every one of the books in this series. *I received an ARC from The Author Agency and am voluntarily leaving a review.
