THE KING'S LADY

Young Faldain, barely a week on his throne, is finding that ruling a kingdom is hardly the round of pleasure and affluence he expected. His derelict palace is riddled with demonic monsters, his treasury lies depleted, and his realm is in chaos. Everyone is clamoring for his attention. If he can't get his act together soon, he may have the shortest reign in Nether's history.More importantly, Faldain needs to choose a queen. It will give his beleaguered subjects hope, and the king is eager to take a bride. But who will it be? The beautiful Lady Pheresa--who is surrounded by Mandrian spies and schemers ready to push Faldain into a disadvantageous treaty? Or the fiery Lady Alexeika--a warrior-maid and horse thief who offers no dowry except her heart?
