Reviews
View All[Spoiler-Free Review]I loved Emily the Strange as a child and I'm absolutely obsessed with this book. It's a shame that these types of mixed media books are so rare! I love the combination of reading and drawings in between, reminds me of my childhood when I would doodle around my writing. The artstyle is great and fits the world and Emily. The story itself was also interesting, nothing too serious, just good ol' weird fun.Does the book try too hard at times? Yes, the writing tries to be too unique at times with Emily's inner voice, but honestly that's a minor nitpick. Overall I'm looking forward to read the rest.
