The Makers, Book One, A New Space Opera, Final Version

This is a novel about first contact by the Makers, an ancient alien race with a 150 million year history. They promise extraordinary wonders, but there’s a bitch of a hitch. This book introduces a new space opera in the traditional style.
Amazingly in my book, the Makers need help from backward and parochial us to help fight off enemies theirs and ours called Collectors another alien race almost as ancient who collect and enslave other species.
This is a completely rewritten book. The original was my first book. It has required substantial changes as I have learned better the craft of writing over the past year. It has been professionally edited, just as it would be if published traditionally. I have taken into account a number of the earlier reviews. I believe that it is vastly improved. I hope you enjoy it.
