Description

Ceony Twill has dedicated herself to the intricate art of paper magic, mastering its many forms at a prestigious school of magic. Yet, beneath her studious exterior lies a hidden truth, one she dares not share with anyone, not even her esteemed mentor, the skilled magician Emery Thane. As she grapples with the confines of her magical education and the expectations that surround her, Ceony’s world is further complicated by the emergence of forbidden powers.

When tragedy strikes and a dark force threatens everything she holds dear, she is thrust into a perilous journey that will challenge her understanding of magic and its limits. Accompanied by the enigmatic Emery, she uncovers secrets about their craft that challenge the very foundation of what she thought she knew. As they face dangers both immense and intimate, their bond deepens, pushing the boundaries of both magic and loyalty.

Ceony's maturation as a magician brings forth themes of sacrifice, love, and the courage to embrace one's true self. The struggles she faces teach her that true power lies not just in skill, but in the heart, leading her to evolve into a formidable force against the shadows that pursue her. As mysteries unravel and loyalties are tested, Ceony must confront her fears and realize that mastering magic requires more than just knowledge; it demands sacrifice and determination.

In a world where paper can wield unfathomable magic and every touch can reshape reality, Ceony’s journey becomes a quest for self-discovery. With each turn of the page, readers are drawn into a richly layered narrative filled with wonder, danger, and the relentless pursuit of one’s destiny amid the unfolding chaos.
