The Membranous Lounge

Sink into the mire of The Membranous Lounge. We think you’ll like it here. We cater to customers just like you. You’re always welcome and The Membranous Lounge is eager to serve. It’s as warm and wet as a new wound. And it’s always open. Let your eyes get used to the dark before you approach the bar. You’ll discover an uneasy solidarity here. All the drinks are spiked with hallucinogens. The songs on the jukebox drip with time and color and reach out with red tentacles. Smoking and suicide are allowed and encouraged here. Love and ambition are not. Poisonous ghosts hover like smoke over the heavy heads of the lonely, the angry, the dispossessed, the tortured and the mad. In this place you will find an infinite universe of sad agonies refracted in the prismatic reflections contained in a single, lucent ice cube. And the cover charge is fairly reasonable. So please, slip inside the Membranous Lounge!
