I loved the book! I finished the entire series in a week—I was completely obsessed. I laughed, I cried, and I was an emotional wreck the whole time. I had to study, but I couldn’t even touch my school materials until I finished the book

4.75 ⭐️I have heard such good things about this series that i had to give it a shot...I like the revenge trope every once and a while. Cause in real life you can't do that. I loved the character growth in this series and how Lana really put in the work to heal and deal with her trauma. It did deal with a lot of heavy subjects. So, be aware of that going into it. There are 5 books in total, but they are all under 200 pages i believe. So, it was a fast read. And the spice for this book was probably 2/5

I thought most of this book was pretty good - it had characters you wanted to back, an intriguing storyline, and I love the found family trope. However the book initially read like something off wattpad and I couldn't get past the writing style even though it eventually improved. However, some of the plot points were odd (homophobic? Sexist?), and the story itself was unbelievable - most of which was acceptable but I hated that the fmc was revealing herself to so many people and being careless at the end - yet nobody caught on except her FBI BOYFRIEND! Still an enjoyable story with a character whose rights and wrongs you support.
