Fourteen-year-old Tonya, flees from her father's enemies, who seek to learn the secret of his psychic research on THE WINGED DISK... Terrified of her imminent capture, she takes refuge in an ancient deserted mansion. There she discovers a hidden spiral staircase leading ever upward.Seeking a place of solace, Tonya begins to ascend the stairwell. Suddenly, the steps behind her dissolve sequentially into mist and the walls begin to fade.She is left surrounded by a swirl of brilliant constellations. Above her, an azure scintillating constellation begins to spin faster and faster, opening a vortex in its center. Tonya hastens upward through the pulsating sapphire portal and enters a new world, where her old problems pale in comparison to the perils she must now face!
