Description

Jude is thrust into a world of betrayal and ambition as she grapples with her sudden exile from the Faerie realm. Once celebrated as the Queen of Faerie, her dreams come crashing down when Cardan, the Wicked King, casts her into the mortal world. Alone and stripped of her title, she must navigate the treacherous politics and alliances that define her former home.

Haunted by the life she left behind, Jude's fierce determination drives her to reclaim her rightful place in a land filled with deception and danger. The shadows of her past lurk around every corner, as old rivalries and intense desires resurface, pushing her to the brink of her resolve. Her journey transforms Jude into a formidable player in Faerie’s intricate game of thrones.

As secrets unravel and loyalties shift in unexpected ways, Jude confronts not only her enemies but also the complexity of love and power intertwined. In this gripping tale of resilience, ambition, and the price of power, she discovers that to be queen is not just about wearing a crown, but about making choices that could alter the fate of both realms forever.

Definitely a great end. Gosh Jude is terribly frustrating at times, but it makes sense with her experiences and life, and so it's not a bad frustration.I really enjoyed it. The way the story changed directions in the last 100 pages, the way I keep loving how Madoc is as a dad, even with Jude's constant doubt and distrust in him. (Yeah he's made mistakes and done bad things, but in this world, a lot of them are kinda forgiveable). Cardan is great.Definitely a great finale. Loved the politics, the world, and the relationships between the various characters, especially several of the Lord's.

4.75? Absolutely incredible ending of trilogy, I wouldn't change anything. So captivating I've read it in almost one sitting. Development of characters is unmatched, plot twists unforeseeable. I cried happy and sad tears. I was shocked. I was angry. I felt betrayed. Absolute whirlwind of emotions and that's exactly what I expect from any book. I'm going straight to reading deleted scenes and letters from Cardan because I'm not ready to let this story go so soon.
