Twelve young animal rights campaigners invade a remote chemical research laboratory in 1991. But their investigation of its secrets goes horribly wrong as unexplained explosions and fires cause them to flee back to London, fearful of official reaction. The group instantly disbands forever. Later the media report that two young firemen died in the conflagration.
Over twenty years later, one member of the original group, now seriously ill and retired, discovers that the 1991 tragedy was apparently caused quite deliberately - for reasons shrouded in mystery. But her decision to share her alarming news with two individuals she believes were not responsible triggers several brutal murders and a dangerous search for the truth.

This is Paul Kennedy’s third crime- thriller. The others, ‘No Way Back’ and ‘Runaway Girl’ were published by Amazon Kindle in 2012 and 2013. He is happily married with three grown-up children. He continues to write non-fictional as well as fictional works.
