📚 : The Seven Year Slip
★★★★★
what is meant for you will meet you when you are ready for it, maybe today, yesterday, tomorrow, or even seven years behind. love and life cannot always be controlled by the timeline we create for ourselves, you cannot force life to follow the timeline you imagined. people need to grow into who they are before they can fully understand what they want from life and relationships. sometimes, you have to let go of your plans, expectations, and even the version of yourself you thought you had to become before you can recognize what truly makes you happy. allow life to happen without constantly trying to control its outcome. we may have plans for our careers, relationships, and future, but unexpected situations can change those plans and it’s fine. instead of seeing these changes as failures, we can view them as part of growing and discovering the perfect path for you.
another reminder, moving forward does not mean forgetting the people or experiences that shaped us. some relationships can leave a lasting impact even when they do not hold us into a single place all our life. it’s okay to move on, remember them every once in a while, and still live your life the way you want it. you’re allowed to be as spontaneous as you want, to change, to keep, to leave, to stay, to be whatever, to be wherever—as long as you’re happy. nothing you have to fill more than your own heart. life does not have to follow a perfect timeline, what matters is becoming the person you need to be and learning to accept that some things happen when the time is right.
the book was good, a calm read, a very whimsy read. i love everything about it, even the flaws. besides perfect read is about what you felt while reading, it’s the experience.

One of my top 10 favorite books ever I love it soooo much, READ IT!!!Ashley Poston did such an amazing job with this book, id hear so many good things about this book and when I read it all I can do is agree with everyone. AND HERES THE BEST PART!! THERES YEARNING!! I love Iwan so much hes such an amazing man with how he treats Clementine. And is it weird that i cried for this one chapter?? It was literally 1am when I started bawling my eyes out. And no you definitely won't cry when reading this but im just a sentimental person and got emotional. LOL
I love love loved this book. I mean, well, of course i do Ashley's poston, never misses. It's so refreshing and cute. The growth of the character is amazing. Plus, it's not over sexual and is closed door, which is a nice change of pace.
