I’m not good at reviews. My husband came home after a couple hours being away. When he left I was in a pretty decent mood. He came back and I was horribly grumpy. So he was trying to figure out why I was so grumpy. Even I didn’t know. Then I got to thinking. I was reading this book the whole time. It’s just one thing after another that happens to the FMC. She never catches a break. I LOVED the ritual. I didn’t have any triggers for this book. But, it was a rough read. I guess she just had so many things happen to her and the MMC did the same exact things to her but it was okay, because it was him doing it? I just didn’t feel the connection between them. I did end up Liking him by the end of it. But not my book boyfriend by any means. First 250 pages was all one constant smut and not enough plot for me. Reading the sacrifice now and I love that one.
First book i loved, this one is just toooo much.. same sex scene through the whole book. same same same.. it took me too long to read cause really had to push myself to finish it.. cred for good plottwist at the end of book though👍
