View All3.5 stars✨ 𝑴𝒚 𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔To be honest, I don't much remember the plot now that I took a break from this book. But from my past updates, I could see that I was enjoying it😅It for sure was fascinating just like the first book and the different plotlines moving towards one intersection point were worth reading it. Book 2 is not much different from the first one, with the engrossing action-packed political conspiracy-filled plotlines🤩And this was more focused on the character development of Archer, who agreed needed closure but it took too much space. I was not a fan of the characters in this one and didn't feel connected to them in any way..Plus the plot was all over the place and I still don't understand it clearly. It was a tough task to keep up with the plot, hence the break from the book. This was definitely a bridge to go from book 1 to book 3 and I had to skip chunks of pages to finish it. So I don't think I'll pick up the third book anytime soon🤷🏻♀️But the writing style is very captivating and the author knows how to engross the readers into a world full of imagination - from conspiracies and action-packed moments to sweet romance and profound characters, this series has it all🫡🔥Follow For More: Blog
