This kid was really bad at stowing away. It took him like half the book. And he really didn’t get to do much in Antarctica except hang out with racists and this woman did NOT know how to navigate historical racism. It was like reading a YA novel where everything was weirdly sanitized with a jump scare of antisemitism and animal death every once in a while. I did stick it out tho so 2 stars.
