Description

In a realm where magic and shadows intertwine, Martris Drayke's life takes a dark turn when the peaceful existence he once knew is violently disrupted. As the second son of King Bricen of Margolan, Martris has been sheltered from the harsh realities of the kingdom’s politics and the treachery lurking within it. But following a devastating betrayal that results in devastating loss, he is thrust into a world of peril and intrigue. Martris discovers that he possesses the rare gift of summoning, a power that connects him to forces beyond the living.

As he grapples with his newfound abilities and the weight of his responsibilities, Martris must navigate a treacherous landscape filled with enemies both near and far. Allies are scarce and trust is a fragile commodity as dark forces conspire to claim the throne. With kingdoms on the brink of war, Martris faces an uphill battle, not just for survival, but to reclaim his place in a world that teeters on the edge of chaos.
