Como así?

i quite like the writing cus you can feel teo slowly losing a sense of his values and getting obsessed with becoming sunbearer and it makes me more invested nglthe whole vibe and atmosphere and shit of the last trial is so goooodi feel like they forget what like positions he's put his characters in in like action scenes or just in general or what environment they've described cus quite a bit of it doesn’t make sense and i can't picture what's going on but it might just be me it kinda ruins it and bring me out of the story cus i'm trying to figuring out what is happening but this happens on like every fantasy action scene for me ngli'm especially confused by the crowd and the lighting in the last bit of the last trial idk what was going on there cus they weren't like inside in a room with like tvs of screaming crowds and electrical lighting so how did the cheers and the lights keep going off they were in a rain forest rightWHAT OKAY NO THAT'S CRUEL AIDEN (i'm talking about the final ranking) THIS IS GONNA BE LIKE ONE OF THOSE THINGS WERE HE REBELS AND REFUSES TO DO IT RIGHT?? RIGHT????i mean ayyy da iawn teo but noooooa lot of the imagery and symbolism really gets me like it's so well thought out and well wordedidk how to explain i just knew from like the half way mark that this book was a 5 stars it gave me that feeling i had a reading as a kid of like comfort and enjoyment and like i was watching a movie and it just reminded why i love readingi'm excited but scared for the next book cus like war/revolution (kind of) books aren't my favourite (like mockingjay is my least favourite hunger games book) but i can't wait to see what happens and development of relationships and friendshipsi actually liked that they don't like get together yet and there were only hints of romance cus it's like slow burn and makes the anticipation for the next book higherthe similarities to the hunger games were kind of comforting in a weird way cus it felt familiarthe ending was quite predictable like the obsidians coming back teo winning the trials and refusing to kill the sacrifice but the xio thing?? that had me full on gobsmackedi loved every character and niya was so me lolthe teo and aurelio relationship was done so well i was giggling and kicking my feet (literally) over them literally just making eye contactaiden writes such good books and such good queer and disability representationngl the swear words kinda threw me off like i swear all the time but they were kinda jarring against the ya writing stylespotify play revolution by elias
