Scene: Described well, I enjoyed the setting and it was well worded but not too over complicated. A handful of places put simply, so we can concentrate on the story and characters. Standard Freida. ****
Characters: Never trust the narrator in Freida's books, twisty, turny, narcissistic and unreliable. *****
Story: Bit of a head f*ck, had to stop reading half way thru, reread and then carry on, but I like a twist, so i'm a sucker for a Freida McFadden. ****
Recommend?: Yes, but only if you are prepare for a very "what just happened" after taste!
This was another deliciously classic Freida McFadden read! I hadn’t picked up one of her books in over a year, and the moment I started this one, I was hooked again. The short chapters are everything — I absolutely love them — and from the very first page, I just had to keep going. I finished it in a single day.This time, I did predict both plot twists pretty early on, but that didn’t take away from the fun at all. Still such an addictive, entertaining ride
Frieda McFadden's signature twists and turns are always a thrill! I knew exactly who the culprit was from the start, but that didn't detract from the entertainment value. I've learned to appreciate her style and enjoy the ride, even when the plot isn't entirely surprising. This book was engaging from start to finish, and I'm already looking forward to her next one!
Well, miss Freida is my comfort author for reading slump, so, here we are.This was fun! A lot of "why would you do that?" and "this doesn't make any sense", but I'm enjoying her books for what they are.

I feel as though for everyone saying it's such a twist doesn't read Freida. Like it was obvious a few chapters in because you know her writing. Was okay but not as great as everyone's making it out to be. I still struggled to get through it
