J'ai adoré ce deuxième tome, franchement Lara est trop badass, la manière dont elle n'a pas abandonmé malgré toutes la haine qu'elle recevait.
Is this the best book written? No.Is the plot surprising? No.But did I thoroughly enjoy this? Yes.Its fantasy, romance, enemies to lovers, climbing back from a pit of betrayal, fighting for your people, fighting for peace and romance.I adore this series. So much.
I enjoyed this book and might continue with the series even though Aren and Lana's story seems mostly over.
I definitely enjoyed this book more than I had the previous. I found it much harder to put down, as is clear with how quickly I got through the book. Reading this was so much fun, even as I watched Aren try to fight his love for Lara by reminding himself of her actions in the previous book, as he told himself that she never loved him and that it was a trick.And while Aren was doing that, she spent the entire time trying her best to atone for her mistakes. Naturally, this is not an easy feat after what she did.I enjoyed this book so much. I plan to wait to read the next book, The Inadequate Heir, until there's more of the series. I can only guess what pain I would go through with Keris and Zarrah.
