Spoilers: suspension of disbelief is one thing. This book requires more than that. One character's husband dies & she escapes the forest. No one cares that her husband doesn't come back with her? They go back to Mina's apartment after being gone for an extended period of time? She made it clear that she was struggling to pay her bills, yet all her stuff & appliances are working when she gets home? They make a homemade dinner too? What was it, a can of beans? Overly predictable and all the roll-your-eyes tropes you can possibly stand.
